Spicy Crab Roll Open Face Bites
Loving spicy crab rolls but don't have the time to make a bunch for a party? Here's a recipe that will help you save time and energy.
Ingredients
- 1 lb krab can substitute king or snow crab meat
- ¼ cup cream cheese
- ¼ cup chopped scallions
- ½ cup shredded carrots
- 2 cubed avocado
- 1 shredded cucumber
- 3 cups sushi rice
- nori seaweed sheets cut into bite-sized portions can substitute wasabi nori
Miso Butter
- 8 tbsp butter
- 4 tsp miso
- 2 tsp sriracha
- 4 tsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp eel sauce can substitute fish or oyster sauce
Topping
- sesame seeds
- chopped scallions
- ½ of the miso butter
Instructions
- Squeeze all the water out of the crab.
- Assemble all ingredients
- Make miso butter. Combine miso, butter, and sriracha in a saucepan. stir to combine over medium low heat until butter melts and everything is combined.
- Shred then coat krab meat in 1/2 of the miso butter. Save the rest to drizzle on top.
- Lay out each nori, wet fingers, spread cream cheese then rice on top. Layer other toppings and top with miso butter krab.
- Drizzle with miso butter, sprinkle sesame and scallions
