Maple Bourbon Chestnut Date Dip
So many cold weather tastes in this comforting dip.
Ingredients
- 1.5 lb chestnuts
- ¾ cup bourbon
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- 2 tbsp butter
- 5 sprigs fresh thyme
- ½ lb pitted dates
Optional
- 2 tbsp basalmic glaze
- 2 tbsp hot honey
- 2 tbsp bbq sauce
- 2 tbsp sriracha
Instructions
- Pulse main ingredients in a food processor, until slightly chunky. If you prefer a smooth dip, feel free to use a blender. Add any of the optional ingredients to taste.
- Chill.
